Knitting or Crocheting?

I recently learned to knit and I am really enjoying it however I have found that I much prefer the look of crochet and I want to try that. Is crocheting harder than knitting? I learned to knit by watching videos on the internet- do you think I could do the same with crochet? Also, if there are any experienced knitters out there, do you experience neck and arm pain while doing it? Any suggestions on how to hold the work to prevent pain? Thanks!
