I have a question that has been gnawing at me for sometime now. John McCain says he is a maverick. Ok,a ?

maverick is someone that is separated from the rest of the herd. Now,John says he is going to change Washington. How,John. He won't answer the question. As much as I use to think one party was right it just doesn't add up. I wish we had other people to choose from but I guess we have to do with what we got. We don't have much out there. No real statesmen. It's like a popularity contest now. If I had been running for president I would have told the people to call in and air their grievances on the air. I would have told them I could not make promises,but just do the best I could and every time I tried to p a bill for the good of our country,it would show on the news who voted against it. This country has really become something that I am not very proud of and I am really more ashamed of it than I ever have been. I know,you say go somewhere else then. I just love my country so much and appreciate every thing it has to offer,but I see where it is going and it makes me so sad. I hope you all understand where I am coming from. Thanks for listening.
